  • Alternative: BS can be substituted with an additional 4 years of related experience performing Tactical Network engineering functions

Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year of engineering experience in Tactical Network design, integration, automation, and documentation

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Engineering (General) I candidate to join our team. The successful applicant will assist in developing, implementing, and documenting engineering, integration, and readiness processes for PEO C3T Tactical Network systems. This role requires effective communication and participation in technical forums, contributing to the overall success of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engineering Process Development: Develop, implement, and document engineering, integration, and readiness processes and procedures for PEO C3T Tactical Network systems.
  • Configuration Management: Prepare documentation and maintain Configuration Item baselines. Assist in the management, maintenance, and automation of Configuration Management tools while ensuring proper version control of software deliverables.
  • Technical Coordination: Participate in and assist in coordinating the Integrated Product Team (IPT) and other technical forums at the PM TN, PEO C3T, and subordinate agency levels. Collaborate with program, project, and product management offices to assess the efficacy of engineering and integration processes.
  • Engineering Techniques Application: Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, making minor adaptations and modifications as needed.
  • Software Delivery Oversight: Oversee the delivery of software applications in test and deployment environments. Analyze configuration issues and propose appropriate resolutions.
  • Design Reviews and Audits: Participate in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of the software baseline for each system.
  • Communication and Leadership: Effectively communicate and lead integrated project teams, providing independent and professional support on portions of complex projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Engineering, Testing, or a related field is required, or an additional 4 years of related experience in Tactical Network engineering functions.
  • A minimum of 1 year of engineering experience in Tactical Network design, integration, automation, and documentation is required.
  • Knowledge of Army organization structure and Unit Task Organization concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
