Security Clearance: Secret

Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree (or 4 years of acquisition experience in Life Cycle Logistics in lieu of a Bachelor's degree)

Experience Requirement:

  • A minimum of 2+ years of acquisition experience in Life Cycle Logistics.
  • Total minimum experience of 6 years, combining relevant education and acquisition experience.

Job Description:

We are seeking an Integrated Logistics Specialist, Journeyman, to support Program Manager Tactical Networks (PM TN) in providing logistics services throughout the life cycle of military weapon systems. This position is essential for maintaining logistics readiness and ensuring effective support across various phases of system development and sustainment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Services: Execute logistics functions and tasks during the development, production, and sustainment phases for PM TN-related requirements.
  • Training Development: Assist in developing and implementing New Equipment Training, Professional Development Training, and Training Simulation programs.
  • Human Factors Engineering (HFE): Contribute to Human Factors Engineering efforts, including validation and verification of training materials and technical manuals.
  • Integrated Logistics Support: Support Total Package Fielding, Integrated Logistics Support, and other related logistics activities to ensure mission success.
  • Logistics Documentation: Prepare and maintain logistics documentation in accordance with Integrated Product Support (IPS) guidelines and other programmatic requirements.
  • Supply Chain Management: Provide supply chain risk management support and assist the PM in developing strategies and plans to mitigate risks.
  • Technical Field Service: Deliver technical field services and assist in vehicle maintenance tasks as required.
  • Logistics Information Systems: Utilize Logistics Information Systems to improve and track logistics processes and performance.
  • Sustainment Transition: Aid in the Transition to Sustainment processes, as well as Type Classification and Material Release for military systems.

Technical Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in the development of training programs for military weapon systems, technical writing, and logistics data provisioning.
  • Expertise in military property management, maintenance engineering/safety, and advanced warehouse management.
  • Knowledge of supply support, logistics documentation, and provisioning support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; or 4 years of acquisition experience in Life Cycle Logistics in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of acquisition experience in Life Cycle Logistics, with a focus on military weapon systems.
  • Total minimum experience of 6 years in acquisition/logistics roles.
