Job Title: Integrated Logistics Specialist, Senior I

Security Clearance: Secret

Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree (or 6 years of acquisition experience in Life Cycle Logistics in lieu of a Bachelor's degree)

Experience Requirement:

  • A minimum of 8+ years of acquisition experience in Life Cycle Logistics.
  • Total minimum experience of 14 years, combining relevant education and acquisition experience.

Job Description:

We are seeking an Integrated Logistics Specialist, Senior I, to provide essential logistics services during the development, production, and sustainment phases of systems for the Program Manager Tactical Networks (PM TN). This role is critical for ensuring that logistics functions meet the operational requirements of military weapon systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Services: Deliver comprehensive logistics functions and tasks throughout the life cycle of systems, specifically for PM TN-related requirements.
  • Training Development: Develop and execute New Equipment Training, Professional Development Training, and Training Simulation initiatives to enhance operational readiness.
  • Human Factors Engineering: Engage in Human Factors Engineering (HFE) activities, focusing on the validation and verification of training materials and technical manuals.
  • Integrated Logistics Support: Facilitate effective Total Package Fielding and Integrated Logistics Support, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
  • Logistics Documentation: Produce and manage logistics documentation, contributing to Integrated Product Support (IPS) and other programmatic needs.
  • Supply Chain Management: Implement supply chain risk management strategies, assisting PM TN in the development of effective supply chain risk strategies and plans.
  • Technical Field Service: Provide Technical Field Service and vehicle maintenance support as required.
  • Logistics Information Systems: Leverage Logistics Information Systems to enhance logistics operations and data reporting.
  • Transition to Sustainment: Support Transition to Sustainment initiatives and Type Classification and Material Release processes for military weapon systems.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure that logistics strategies meet programmatic requirements.

Technical Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in developing training programs for weapon systems and strong technical writing skills.
  • Extensive military property management expertise, maintenance engineering/safety knowledge for military weapon systems, and advanced military warehouse management capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of logistics data provisioning, supply support, and logistics documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; or 6 years of acquisition experience in Life Cycle Logistics in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of acquisition experience in Life Cycle Logistics with a focus on weapon systems.
  • Total minimum experience of 14 years in relevant logistics or acquisition roles.
