Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist, Intermediate, to provide subject matter expertise in IT support across our organization. The successful candidate will develop business cases, perform knowledge management, and ensure information assurance, while delivering expert analysis and evaluation of IT matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and present business cases, conducting knowledge management and information assurance initiatives within the organization or major components.
• Provide expert analysis and recommendations regarding IT projects, initiating and leading full-scope information systems management projects for the Command.
• Perform information technology tasks, including the review, analysis, and validation of electronic business operation tools; implementing IT resources (hardware/software); and contributing to website design, database development, and business systems integration.
• Collaborate with higher headquarters, other Command sites, and business centers to facilitate the implementation of procurement information systems technology within the Command.
• Assess and implement IT policies governing IT activities, providing guidance to management, staff, and customers.
• Define current and future business environments, conduct audits of IT programs and policies, and develop business cases to recommend enhancements to improve the efficiency of IT systems through the application of emerging technologies.
• Rigorously apply IT policies, principles, and practices in delivering technical services throughout the Command.
• Serve as the Lead Information Management Officer and Telephone Control Officer, representing the organization’s interests to service providers.
• Lead projects related to knowledge management and business process design tasks.

Technical Skills and Experience:

• Solid understanding of IT support, systems management, and project management principles.
• Relevant IT certifications demonstrating expertise in the field.
• Experience with electronic business operation tools, website design, database development, and systems integration.
• Familiarity with IT policy development, implementation, and auditing of IT programs.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex IT matters and provide actionable recommendations.
