Warehouse Course Instructor

Warehouse Operator/Warehouse Supervisor Course/Material Management Workshop Instructor at the Army National Guard Professional Education Center located in North Little Rock, AR

The ARNG Warehouse Operator Course is a one-week resident course that provides functional training for ARNG personnel working in an Installation Supply Support Activity. This course trains critical skills required to aid in the sustainment of supported warfighter elements to include but not limited to requisitioning, receipting, storage, issuing, and distribution of a variety of Classes of Supplies.

The ARNG Warehouse Supervisor Course is a two-week resident course that provides functional training for ARNG personnel that supervise the day-to-day operations of an Installation Supply Support Activity. The course trains critical skills required to managing the functionality, safety, standards, policies, and sets priorities. Supervisors also learn to develop and implement plans of actions to alleviate backlogs and while sustaining units of the Army National Guard through careful planning and execution of organizational supply operations.

The Material Management Workshop is a one-week on-line workshop that provides functional training for state level USPFO Material Managers. This workshop trains critical task such as USPFO responsibilities, release strategies, DoDAAC management, document history research, overage preferable management, all while using a variety of automation tools, i.e., GSCC-Army, Army Vantage, AESIP, FMSWeb, I3Log, etc.

Knowledge requirements

  • Knowledge of the USPFO personnel responsibilities
  • Ability to conduct supply procurement research
  • Working knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a Supply Support Activity (SSA) in the Army National Guard (ARNG)

Required experience/Skills

  • Ability to obtain instructor certification
  • Five years’ experience as a Warehouse Supervisor NCO
  • Strong communication skills (oral and writing)
  • Five years of GCSS-Army experience

Salary: $60,000 - $62,000
