HR Generalist/Operations Support
Supporting PEO Soldier
Location: Fort Belvoir, VA
Salary: 95-105K; Commensurate with Education / Experience
Education Requirements:
Level II: Related Associate’s Degree with = 0 years experience, or High School Graduate (or GED) with = 2 years experience
Level III: Bachelors degree with = 6 years relevant experience, or Associate Degree with 10 years relevant experience
Position Summary:
Prepare Position Requirements Descriptions (PRDs) and/or advises managers in preparation of PRDs, assuring that they are adequate for classification purposes.
Provide guidance to management concerning recruitment strategies
Submit and review Requests for Personnel Action (RPAs) in the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) and tickets in AUTONOA for accuracy and completeness prior to forwarding to the Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC) for processing, ensuring all required technical aspects of requested personnel actions are researched and coordinated with appropriate management personnel prior to submission. Actions include but are not limited to recruit/fills, reassignments, non-pay/non-duty status, temporary promotions and reassignments, awards, salary changes, and separations
Receive award nomination packages and review for accuracy and compliance with governing regulations and policies
Use a variety of automated systems (AUTONOA, BOBI, CPOL) to manage and track personnel assignments and utilization, incentive awards, leave usage, personnel actions and training
In-Process all civilian hires
Super-User for the Defense Automated Time Attendance and Production System (DATAAPS)
POC for the Financial Disclosure Management system
Assist in maintaining the Human Resources Database (HRDB) for all PEO Personnel (including Civilians, Military, Contractors and Matrixed support civilians and contractors).
Maintain multiple documents and spreadsheets with historical data for accuracy and ad hoc reporting.
Possesses and independently applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments; may be assigned responsibility to participate in or lead project efforts to:
